Advanced Musculskeletal Physiotherapist

BSc(hons) Physiotherapy

I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2004 from the University of Nottingham and have since developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Over the years, I have held various roles in both the NHS and private practice.

For the past decade, I worked as a Clinical and Operational Lead, overseeing a team of physiotherapists in east Suffolk, providing NHS physiotherapy services. My responsibilities included managing a diverse caseload and contributing to service delivery and transformation.

In addition to my private practice, I continue to work at Ipswich Hospital as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Practitioner within the Orthopaedic team. My role involves assessing and diagnosing patients in the Musculoskeletal Clinical Assessment Service (MCAS), discussing management options, and offering Soft Tissue and Joint Injection Therapy. I have also achieved formal accreditation as an Advanced Practitioner through NHS England’s Centre for Advancing Practice.

In my spare time, I am an avid swimmer, runner, and cyclist. These activities not only help to keep me fit but also provide a personal understanding of the physical challenges and injuries my patients may experience.

I look forward to providing high-quality care and supporting the musculoskeletal health of the community.
